We have the great pleasure, with the approval of Albin Johnson of being able to offer a run of a collaborative clothing run for a unique droid with a special story – R2KT.

The origin:
In 2004, 7-year-old Katie Johnson, the daughter of Albin was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Wanting to comfort her and give her a droid to watch over her just as R2-D2 watched over Padmé in the movies, her father Albin reached out to the R2 Builders Club. Fellow builder Jerry Greene engineered the robot, painted it Katie’s favorite color (pink), and shipped it to the family’s home
Katie passed away in 2005, but her legacy lives on through R2-KT. The droid was adopted as an official ambassador of the 501st Legion, traveling to hospitals, charity events, and Make-A-Wish fundraisers to bring joy to sick children.
